About ICETISI

Welcome to the 2nd International Conference on Emerging Trends in Information Systems and Informatics (ICETISI 2027), to be held from 8-9 February 2027, in Jakarta, Indonesia. Organized by the Faculty of Technology and Computer Science at Universitas Nasional, this premier academic event will bring together researchers, scholars, industry professionals, and students to discuss the latest advancements and emerging trends in Information Systems and Informatics.

ICETISI 2027 aims to be a dynamic platform for exchanging ideas and fostering collaboration between academia and industry. The conference will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, and paper presentations that explore the impact of rapid technological changes on Information Systems and Informatics. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions on current challenges, share innovative research findings, and explore the future directions of technology, ultimately contributing to the advancement of the field and the development of impactful technologies for society.

Potential Authors : We aim to draw participants from various parts of the world, and we believe that Jakarta`s allure will be a significant selling point for the conference. Specifically, we are targeting authors from Indonesia, Malaysia, Australia, India, and China. Keynote Speakers

Assoc. Prof. Afiahayati, S.Kom., M.Cs. Ph.D.

Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Indonesia

Assoc. Prof. Afiahayati, Ph.D., is an accomplished academic and researcher specializing in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Bioinformatics, currently serving as the Head of the Master Program in Artificial Intelligence at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Indonesia. Having earned her Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from Keio University, Japan, her extensive research bridges advanced computational techniques with healthcare and life sciences, ranging from genomic analysis to AI-driven medical solutions. A recipient of prestigious international honors including the Schlumberger Foundation Fellowship and the Google Anita Borg Memorial Scholarship, she actively contributes to the global scientific community through prolific research, editorial reviewing, and leadership in pattern recognition and intelligent systems.

Prof. (Dr.) Moirangthem Marjit Singh

North Eastern Regional Institute of Science & Technology (NERIST), India

Prof. (Dr.) Moirangthem Marjit Singh is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at the North Eastern Regional Institute of Science & Technology (NERIST), Arunachal Pradesh, India. He earned his B.Tech (2001) and M.Tech (2010, Gold Medallist) from NERIST, and completed his Ph.D. at the University of Kalyani in 2017. Having previously served as Head of the CSE Department (2018–2022), he currently serves as the In-charge of the Educational Technology Cell, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), and Single Point of Contact (SPoC) for the NIELIT Itanagar Centre at NERIST.

His research focuses on MANET, WSN, Security, ML/DL, and Image Classification. He holds a 20-year granted Indian patent (Patent No. 542853), has published extensively across journals, books, and conferences, and serves as an Editor for the IETE-Journal of Research (Taylor & Francis). Professionally, he is a Fellow of IETE India, a Fellow of IE(I), a Senior Member of IEEE (USA), and a founding member of both the IE(I) Arunachal Pradesh State Centre and the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan NERIST Cell.

Prof. Marjit has received numerous honors, including the Academic Excellence Award from Taylor’s University, Malaysia (2023), the IE(I) Young Engineers Award (2014–2015), and several Best Paper and Presenter awards across international conferences (ICEAI 2023, SETSM 2025, ICACCT 2016, ICDAI 2024, and GEn-CITy 2025). Earlier in his education at JNVSA Kakching, he secured 1st position in Class X (1995) and 2nd position in Class XII (1997) across all JNVs in North East India, leading to his felicitation as an Eminent Alumni by the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti in 2023.

Ir. Dr. Siti Fauziah Toha

International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM)

Ir. Dr. Siti Fauziah Toha is a Professor of Artificial Intelligence and Dean of the Academy of Graduates and Professional Studies at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). She holds a B.Eng (UTP), an MSc (USM), and a PhD from the University of Sheffield (2010), alongside professional credentials as a Chartered Engineer (CEng, UK) and Professional Engineer (PEng, BEM). Currently serving as a Visiting Professor at London South Bank University and UTHM, as well as the Vice President of PERINTIS Malaysia, her expertise lies in AI optimization, bio-inspired robotics, electric vehicles, and renewable energy.

A prolific researcher, she has managed 45 projects backed by RM 3.7 million in grants, published over 100 papers (Scopus H-Index 18), and filed 7 patents. Her prominent accolades include being named a Top Research Scientist Malaysia (2023), receiving the UK Leaders in Innovation Fellowship (2025), and winning the 3rd KANS Scientific Competition (2022). Beyond academia, she actively contributes to national strategic initiatives, including the ASM MyNet Zero Task Force and the formulation of Malaysia’s National Policy of Science, Technology & Innovation (2021-2030).

Guidelines ICETISI 2027

Author Guidelines

Authors are requested to prepare their manuscripts following the IEEE Conference Paper format. Manuscripts should be between 4 to 6 pages in length. Research papers must address a specific technological problem and present a comprehensive solution, including experimental results.

Author Policy

All submitted manuscripts will be subjected to a thorough blind review process by at least three independent reviewers, who will assess the originality, technical quality, and relevance of the paper to the conference themes. Authors will receive notification of the review outcome via email according to the dates outlined in the Home section. It is important to note that acceptance of a paper does not guarantee publication in the IEEE Xplore® Digital Library or indexing in Scopus, as these are dependent on meeting IEEE’s quality standards, including positive peer reviews, adherence to formatting guidelines, and successful presentation at the conference. Authors are advised to follow all submission guidelines meticulously to enhance the likelihood of their work being published and indexed.

Publications ICETISI 2027

The proceeding of the conference will be published in IEEExplore, a well-known Scopus-indexed database in the field of electrical, electronic, and computer engineering.

With a commitment to high academic standards, all accepted presented papers will be submitted in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library which is indexed by Scopus, ensuring global visibility and recognition for the work presented.

No-Show Policy:
In case a paper is not presented at the conference, it shall be deemed a “no-show” and will be removed from the post-conference distribution and IEEExplore submission. The fees are not returned.
